Patricia Erickson and Sharon Klingman

Sharon Klingman has been the Clinical Coordinator for the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery at BroMenn since the program opened in June of 1998. Prior to accepting this position, she had practiced since 1984 as a behavioral health counselor in both Peoria and Bloomington-Normal. She received her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University in 1984, and became a certified addiction counselor in 1987.

Patricia Erickson accepted the position of Nursing Coordinator for the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery at BroMenn when it opened in June of 1998. Prior to that, she had been a staff nurse at Proctor’s Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery in Peoria since 1994. While at the Peoria facility, she worked extensively with patients in treatment for a variety of addictions.

In 1992, Ms. Erickson received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Morton College in Chicago, and she obtained the Certified Addictions Registered Nurse designation in 1996. She currently serves as a member of the BroMenn Nursing Practice Council, BroMenn Environment of Care Committee and the Policy and Procedure Advisory Council. Patricia is currently working toward obtaining her CADC.
